3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez avoided salary arbitration on Tuesday by agreeing to a one-year, $10.65 million deal, according to sources familiar with the deal. Hernandez recently suffered a left wrist sprain during a spring workout, but the injury isn't believed to be significant, and he could return to game action in a few days. The 29-year-old has five-category potential for fantasy managers after hitting .296/.346/.524 with 32 home runs, 29 doubles, 92 runs scored, 116 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 595 plate appearances as a first-time All-Star in 2021.
