4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez led the way on offense on Opening Day, going 3-for-4 with a home run, one RBI and two runs scored in a 3-2 extra-innings victory over the Yankees. Hernandez launched a one-out, game-tying home run in the sixth inning off of Gerrit Cole, who was removed one batter later. With George Springer opening the year on the injured list, Hernandez will benefit from increased playing time in the outfield.
