3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez slugged his 13th home run of the season during the team's 7-4 loss to the Red Sox on Wednesday. He paired his solo blast in the sixth with a single to finish the game going 2-for-4 as he now sits with an impressive .298 BA and 53 RBI on the season. After slugging 16 homers in 50 games a year ago, Hernandez hasn't quite tapped into his same power output, but he has traded it off for a superior average which is laudable. If the 28-year-old can find the happy-medium between these attributes, he could have drool-worthy fantasy appeal in the second half.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
