4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (ribs) could rejoin the starting lineup as soon as Thursday, per manager Charlie Montoyo, with the club’s home run leader set to face righty Matt Shoemaker in live batting practice on Wednesday. Hernandez ran the bases Tuesday, and so long as he comes out of each step feeling well, he will have no impediments to his return. Hernandez has had a breakout campaign in 2020, slashing .308/.358/.637 through his first 39 games. Upon his activation, he has season-long appeal in all formats while remaining a top-tier DFS option, especially when playing at hitter-friendly Sahlen Field.--Jesse Borek
