7 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez will reportedly remain in the Major Leagues, even with the impeding return of designated hitter Kendrys Morales from the disabled list on Friday. The thought all along was that Hernandez would be sent back down once Morales returned, but he has simply played too well for a demotion. Through five games and 25 plate appearances, he’s slashing .375/.400/.708 with one home run, a triple, three doubles, five runs scored, six RBI, and one stolen base. We knew he was talented, but he’s filling up the box score more than anyone could have imagined. Knowing he’ll be staying with the big club, he’s worth an addition in the majority of leagues to see how long he can keep this up for.--John Smith
