Terron Armstead Joins Dolphins On Five-Year Deal
3 years agoOffensive tackle Terron Armstead has found a new home with the Miami Dolphins, who ponied up a five-year, $75 million contract to ink the former Saints' left tackle, per multiple reports. A knee injury limited Armstead to just eight games last season, after he reeled off three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances from 2018-20. After being Drew Brees' longtime blindside protection, where Armstead lines up with southpaw Tua Tagovailoa under center remains to be seen, but the big man's addition helps fortify Miami's offensive line. Additionally, after a year of uncertainty in the backfield, both Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert were brought in to revamp the running backs room; that group should also benefit immensely from Armstead's presence in paving the way for running room.
