3 years agoThe Washington Football Team addressed their need for a more explosive offense this offseason with the additions of quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and wide receivers Curtis Samuel, Dyami Brown and Adam Humphries. Terry McLaurin was the only threat that Washington had out wide in 2020. In 2021, he envisions opposing defenses having more respect for the rest of Washington's receiving core. The speedy Samuel will be able to open up the offense and give McLaurin an easier time making plays. "It's not going to allow those teams to play with the safety on the hash and those double coverages I was seeing a lot last year," McLaurin said. Deep passes, intermediate routes and short passing situations can all be opened up for McLaurin when teams cannot put all their focus on him. This can pave the way for McLaurin to have a true breakout season. With improved quarterback play and a wide open Scott Turner offense, McLaurin should be a strong WR1 for fantasy managers this season.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
