Terry McLaurin Much-Improved From Sophomore Season
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Terry McLaurin has been identified by many as a potential breakout candidate for the 2021 season. Coming off a sophomore season where he put up 87 receptions, 1,118 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 134 targets, McLaurin can improve in all statistical categories in 2021. Newly signed cornerback William Jackson III has been really impressed with the young receiver, as the two have had their fair share of battles so far throughout camp. "His releases are definitely better. Way better since I played him last year," Jackson said. "He's doing sudden moves, he gives you a little something at the line, so he's making it harder for DBs." With what will likely be much-improved quarterback play from Ryan Fitzpatrick, McLaurin can be more efficient and catch more deep passes than last season. He will likely have similar volume this year, so a bump in efficiency could vault him into the elite class of receivers. He is a lower-end WR1 in fantasy.
