Terry McLaurin Wants To Be More Dangerous Deep Threat
3 years agoAfter the Washington Football Team signed quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, they added a whole new dimension to their offense that they lacked last season. The 2020 offense lacked the ability to get explosive plays down the field, and that is something wide receiver Terry McLaurin prides himself on doing this season. "Being a lot more consistent, trying to be more of a deep-ball threat down the field so I can help stretch the offense more, McLaurin said. The third-year receiver has the opportunity to have a true breakout season with Fitzpatrick throwing him the ball. McLaurin should be able to improve in every statistical category this season after finishing with 87 receptions, 1,118 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns in 2020. He should be treated as a low-end WR1 with the potential to catapult into the elite tier of receivers in 2021.
