6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes left wing Teuvo Teravainen registered a goal with an assist and a plus-one rating in Saturday's 5-2 victory against the Philadelphia Flyers. He has managed three goals with 20 points and a plus-six rating across his past 18 outings. Defenseman Jaccob Slavin also lit the lamp, posting a shorthanded goal, but he was ending a drought. He entered the game scoreless over the past 14 outings. The Hurricanes have an ultra important game in Pittsburgh on Sunday as they continue their pursuit for a playoff spot.--Daniel Dobish
