3 years agoNew York Jets running back Tevin Coleman was recently named the lead back for their matchup against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. However, he'll likely be stuck in a three-back committee with Ty Johnson and rookie Michael Carter. None of these backs were able to separate themselves during the preseason. It's likely going to be a situation to avoid for fantasy purposes. On paper, Coleman will have a favorable matchup against the Panthers defense. However, it's uncertain how the Jets plan to split up the carries in the backfield. Possibly, Coleman could have deep league value, but shouldn't be trusted as a reliable option to start the season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
