3 years agoHouston Texans rookie cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. (foot) didn't appear to have any issues with his surgically repaired foot during organized team activities, but the Texans are being cautious with their first-round pick and limited his workload to individual drills earlier this week. "Coming in, we know he's coming off a major injury, so for Derek and some of our other players, you can see we have quite a few guys that are out right now. Some are getting no reps, some are getting a limited amount of reps," head coach Lovie Smith said. Stingley missed most of his final year in college due to a Lisfranc injury, but he should be a full-go in training camp, putting him on track to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
