3 years agoThe Houston Texans defense was knocked around by 49ers rookie quarterback Trey Lance in his second-ever NFL start. They gave up 23 points while only managing one interception and one sack. Running back Elijah Mitchell rushed for 119 yards, and Lance managed a 116 passer rating. It was a rather disappointing showing from a Texans defense that had been a surprise in the second half of the season. While they did manage a turnover, they hemorrhaged yards from every spot on the field. Next week, they get a Titans offense that is beginning to hit their stride again. The Houston defense can be safely avoided if you're still playing for a fantasy title.--Jacob Taylor
