Texans Exploring A Trade To Secure Another Top-10 Pick
3 years agoThe Houston Texans have the No. 3 overall pick of the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night, but they've been exploring a trade back up for a second top-10 pick, according to league sources. If the right player is available, Houston is trying to position themselves to move their second first-round pick at No. 13 to jump back into the top 10 to get him. The Texans are in a position to make a big splash in this year's draft after not having a first- or second-round selection last year thanks to the trade that landed them left tackle Laremy Tunsil. After trading quarterback Deshaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns this offseason, Houston now has five picks in the top 80 and seven selections in the top 108.
