3 years agoThe Texans selected Alabama wideout John Metchie III with the No. 44 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Houston needs some help on the offensive end, so the team took a player capable of providing some support in that area. The 21-year-old finished the 2021 season by hauling in 96 catches for 1,142 yards and eight touchdowns. However, a left ACL tear suffered during the SEC Championship in December forced him to slide out of first-round consideration. Nonetheless, dynasty managers can take advantage of the injury, primarily since some won't look in his direction during fantasy drafts. He may not be due for a breakout rookie campaign, especially with the subpar quarterbacks on the Houston roster.
