Texans Re-Sign Pharaoh Brown Tuesday
3 years agoThe Houston Texas re-signed tight end Pharaoh Brown to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million on Tuesday, according to a source. Brown will get $3 million guaranteed in his new one-year deal. The 27-year-old had 23 catches on 34 targets for 171 yards and no touchdowns in 15 games (12 starts) in his fourth season in the NFL. In four years with the Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns and Texans, he has just 39 catches for 361 yards and two touchdowns on 53 targets over 39 games (28 starts). Brown should be sharing tight end snaps with Brevin Jordan in 2022, which will limit his fantasy appeal to much deeper leagues.
