5 years agoThe Houston Texans have traded for Kansas City Chiefs running back Carlos Hyde and are expected to use him heavily as part of their offense. Hyde will step into some version of the role that Lamar Miller (ACL) occupied before going down for the year, though we expect to see Duke Johnson take on a little more of the early down work. Hyde's upside is probably somewhere in the RB3 tier, as he'll be off the field on virtually all passing downs but will get red zone work. This does represent a clear step up in value over what he had with the Chiefs, who were expected to release Hyde before the trade materialized.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
