2 years agoSan Francisco Giants infielder Thairo Estrada left Saturday's contest early after getting hit in the head with a Drew Smyly pitch in the fifth inning. The 26-year-old laid on the ground for several moments before walking off the field with trainers in a scary scene as Jason Vosler came in to run for him. Hopefully Estrada can come away from this with good news as he'll undoubtedly undergo further testing tonight or tomorrow afternoon. It's unlikely he suits up for Sunday's tilt versus the Cubs, but look for an update from the club within the next 24 hours on his status.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
