3 years agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko will record his second appearance of the season on Friday against Philadelphia. He made a losing start to the year on Wednesday against Edmonton, despite stopping 32 of 34 shots to post a nice .941 save percentage. Home teams have been crushing it early in the season, so this will not be an easy matchup for Demko, and the continued absence of Brock Boeser (undisclosed) will make it even tougher for the Canucks, who also play on Saturday in Detroit.
