4 years agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko is the team's starter in goal on Monday against Ottawa. The 25-year-old is searching for his first win of the season, having gone 0-3-0 in his previous appearances with a 5.47 goals-against average and a .866 save percentage. The Canucks have been miserable defensively at the start of the season, so Demko still allowed seven goals despite making 35 saves in his last outing on Jan. 21 against Montreal. With that said, the Senators haven't done much better and the Canucks have won nine of the last 12 meetings in Vancouver, so Demko is in a good spot to finally get his first victory.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
