3 years agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko stopped 23 of 25 shots on Tuesday night. However, it was the two-man disadvantage where Demko shined. He stopped four or five scoring chances as the New York Rangers peppered him relentlessly. Demko even had a Dominik Hasek-like moment when he stopped New York without his stick or blocker. It was a hopeful, wishing save that sparked Vancouver in their 3-2 overtime win on Tuesday night.
