4 years agoRoxanne Modafferi (25-18) was unable to get into a groove at all on Wednesday against Viviane Araujo. Statistically, Modafferi was able to land 46 significant strikes (49 total strikes) but did not land any of her five takedown attempts. Regardless of where the fight took place, Araujo was able to maintain control of the veteran. Modafferi has scored some huge wins in the UFC, but she can't seem to ever put together a winning streak. It might be best to stay away from starting Modafferi moving forward. It's possible the UFC may start to use her as a gatekeeper against young, strong talent.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
