6 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson has been waking up as of late, and his recent surge continued in a 1-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday. Granderson finished 3-for-4 without any other statistics of note, but three hits are three hits. He’s now on a five-game hitting streak that has seen him amass two home runs, two doubles, three runs scored and seven RBI over that span. For the year, he’s now slashing .253/.372/.443 with six home runs, 10 doubles, 25 runs scored and 23 RBI. With Randal Grichuk and Teoscar Hernandez also playing well, playing time will continue to be murky for Granderson, who has actually been playing more designated hitter as of late.--John Smith
