Three Homers In Two Days For Curtis Granderson
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson seems to have lost the most playing time in the Jays’ now-healthy outfield, but he is certainly doing his best to change that. In a 6-3 win over the Houston Astros on Monday, Granderson finished 2-for-4 with two home runs and a walk. Granderson also went deep on Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels, giving him three bombs in his last two games. He obviously needs to stick in the lineup when he’s hitting like this, but playing time is bound to be an issue again. With outfielders Steve Pearce and Randal Grichuk now healthy, plus incumbents Teoscar Hernandez and Kevin Pillar, the situation looks to be a bit of a carousel.
