Tim Anderson Cleared To Ramp Up Baseball Activities
2 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson (hand) followed up with a hand specialist and has been cleared to ramp up his baseball activities immediately. If he can avoid any setbacks after having left hand surgery on Aug. 6, Anderson could potentially return to the White Sox's starting lineup at some point next week. There's very little time for the 29-year-old to contribute the rest of the way for fantasy managers, but he should remain stashed everywhere. The two-time All-Star was hitting .301/.339/.395 with six home runs, 25 RBI, 50 runs scored and 13 stolen bases in 351 plate appearances over 79 games before his injury. The White Sox signed veteran Elvis Andrus to be their everyday shortstop with Anderson on the shelf.
