4 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson extended his hitting streak to eight games on Thursday versus the Minnesota Twins. Anderson hit a solo shot to open the bottom of the first inning and would finish the game 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Anderson has been on fire in May and has safely hit in all but one game this month. Anderson has done everything a manager can ask of him and he is now hitting .315 with five home runs, 15 RBI and six stolen bases. Anderson will look to extend his hitting streak with a doubleheader on tap against the Kansas City Royals on Friday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
