3 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. This appears to be a routine rest day, so Anderson can recover for the stretch run. Fantasy managers should expect Anderson to be back in the lineup for Sunday's contest. In the meantime, Danny Mendick will cover shortstop and bat eighth versus righty Luis Patino. Mendick doesn't have much upside with the bat and is batting in a low spot in the order.
