Tim Anderson Resting On Tuesday
3 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson will get a day of rest on Tuesday versus the Minnesota Twins. Anderson has been swinging a hot bat with a .308 batting average over the past month, but he has not hit a home run during that span. Anderson is one of the better pop and speed offensive contributors in the game, but the lack of power recently is a bit concerning. Despite that, Anderson is still hitting the ball well and managers shouldn't panic. Anderson is now hitting .298 with six home runs, 28 RBI and 14 stolen bases. Infielder Danny Mendick will replace Anderson on Tuesday and bat ninth in a tough matchup versus Jose Berrios. Mendick should be avoided in DFS.
