Tim Anderson Set To Return On Thursday
4 years agoChicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa said on Wednesday that shortstop Tim Anderson (hamstring) is expected to return to the starting lineup on Thursday versus the Cleveland Indians. Anderson has been on the 10-day injured list since April 4 when he strained his left hamstring while running to first base. Anderson started the season 3-for-15 with one home run and one RBI and is coming off of a fantastic 2020 campaign. Anderson hit .322 with 10 home runs, 21 RBI, five stolen bases and 45 runs scored this past season and is one of the better pop and speed options at the shortstop position. Anderson will return to the top spot in the White Sox lineup and managers should be ready to plug him in their lineup on Thursday and moving forward.
