Tim Anderson Steals First Base Of Season
4 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson went 1-for-5 with a single and a stolen base on Sunday versus the Boston Red Sox. Anderson returned to the lineup on Thursday after being activated from the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain. Anderson is now 3-for-10 since returning to the lineup with a stolen base. The shortstop has been hitting in the leadoff spot and should score plenty of runs at the top of a strong White Sox offense. He also hits for power and can steal bases. The White Sox have a doubleheader versus the Boston Red Sox on Sunday and one would think that Anderson will likely rest one of those matchups with his recent return, but he should still be started in all formats.
