3 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson will get a rare day off on Wednesday versus the St. Louis Cardinals. Anderson has been having a very good year, but has been mired in a 3-for-25 slump. It's just a routine day off for Anderson and hopefully it will get him back on track. Anderson is hitting .287 with five home runs, 17 RBI and seven stolen bases and remains one of the best power and speed players at the shortstop position. Second baseman Nick Madrigal will be leading off with Anderson absent and utility man Danny Mendick will take over at shortstop and bat ninth versus John Gant. Mendick is a risky option in DFS.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
