Tim Anderson's Suspension Reduced To Two Games
2 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson's three-game suspension for making contact with an umpire last week has been reduced to two games, and he's expected to begin serving the suspension on Sunday against the Texas Rangers. He'll also miss Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday against the Kansas City Royals. Make sure to remove Anderson from your fantasy lineups on Sunday and Tuesday. In Anderson's absence from the lineup on Sunday, Leury Garcia will handle the 6 and bat eighth against Rangers right-hander Spencer Howard. Fantasy managers in DFS formats should be able to find better options than Garcia, who is batting just .209/.233/.272 with three long balls, 18 RBI, 31 runs scored and one stolen base in 254 at-bats in 2022.
