6 years agoBaltimore Orioles third baseman Tim Beckham (groin) will begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Bowie on Friday, per MASN Sports' Roch Kubatko. Beckham is currently on the 60-day disabled list with a groin injury and will be eligible to return June 23. The 28-year-old had a disappointing .179/.247/.262 slash line through 23 games prior to his injury, but was surprisingly useful last season from a fantasy perspective, hitting .278 with 22 home runs and 62 RBI. Fantasy players will need to wait until Beckham is healthy and for him to prove last season was not a fluke before giving him serious attention.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
