2 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Tim Boyle finished 9-for-16 with 111 yards, one touchdown, and one interception during Friday's preseason loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He took over for Jared Goff at the end of the first quarter and played the remainder of the half. He likely has a leg up on fellow quarterback David Blough in the competition to be Goff's backup. The Eastern Kentucky product saw some action last season, completing 61 of 94 passes for 526 yards, three touchdowns, and six interceptions.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
