5 years agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Tim Heed potted his first goal of the year on Thursday against New Jersey, putting the team up 1-0 in an eventual 2-1 loss. Jacob Middleton and Alex True recorded the helpers on the play. The latter has quietly tallied three points in his past four appearances. Heed has only two points for the year, but that could change quickly. Erik Karlsson (broken thumb) finds himself on the shelf for the rest of the season and Heed, who is known for his ability on the power play, can expect to see more action for the rest of the way.
