6 years agoThe Texas Rangers have scratched reliever Tim Lincecum from his outing tomorrow due to a blister forming on the pitcher's middle finger. There was little hope that the former Freak would be ready for Opening Day, and the emergence of this pesky blister only casts more doubt. With all of the interest in Lincecum's comeback and impressive physical shape, he has yet to throw a live spring inning and will likely try to continue his rehab with the one of the Rangers' minor league affiliates during the first weeks of the season.--Sean Scampton
