4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers utilityman Tim Lopes (oblique) has been placed on the 60-day injured list due to an oblique injury, putting him out for the foreseeable future. Lopes had been a long shot to make the Brewers' Opening Day roster, with the injury sealing that fate. Over the past two years with Seattle, Lopes compiled a .252/.315/.362 slash line, drawing starts at five different positions. His placement on the IL coincided with Jackie Bradley Jr. -- who is set to be an everyday part of the outfield -- officially joining Milwaukee. Lopes has no season-long fantasy intrigue at this stage as the Brewers continue to work their way through who will make their 26-man roster come April 1.--Jesse Borek
