3 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays activated relief pitcher Tim Mayza (elbow) from the injured list on Wednesday. Mayza has pitched to a 3.75 ERA and a 3.09 FIP in 36 innings for the Blue Jays while striking out 36 batters and walking just nine. The 29-year-old now rejoins a Toronto bullpen that also includes Brad Hand, Adam Cimber, and Trevor Richards as setup options ahead of closer Jordan Romano. He could be a key contributor down the stretch for both the Blue Jays and fantasy managers in leagues where holds are part of the scoring.
