2 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick (knee) was carted off the field at training camp practice on Tuesday with an undisclosed injury. DNVR Sports' Zac Stevens is reporting that Patrick suffered a possible knee injury. The 28-year-old wideout wasn't putting weight on his right leg as he was taken to the locker room. He is one of the more underrated receivers in the NFL and is stuck in a crowded receiver room in Denver, but he's an important piece to Denver's offense, when healthy. Patrick finished the last two years with 700-plus receiving yards and 11 total touchdowns in 31 games. If he's forced to miss significant time, it will open the door for KJ Hamler (knee), who just came off the Physically Unable to Perform list on Monday, to see extra playing time with new quarterback Russell Wilson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
