3 years agoThe Denver Broncos are expected to place wide receiver Tim Patrick and other players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, according to a source. While Patrick could be cleared to play in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Chargers with a negative test if he's vaccinated, there's a better chance that he won't play this weekend. Patrick leads all Denver receivers with five touchdowns on the year, but although he's an excellent pass-catcher when the ball is thrown his way, he doesn't see enough targets in this low-volume passing attack to be more than a touchdown-dependent WR4/5. If he's out this Sunday, it will mean more looks for Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton, but they'll still be hard to trust with quarterback Drew Lock expected to make another start.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
