7 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Tim Tebow (hand) is scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday after breaking the hamate bone in his right hand while swinging over the weekend. He'll likely miss the rest of the season, according to an MLB source. The football star turned baseball professional was actually performing quite well at Double-A Binghamton this year, hitting .273/.336/.399 with six home runs and 36 RBI in 84 games.
