Titans Agree To Extension With Ryan Succop
7 years agoThe Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with place kicker Ryan Succop on a five-year deal worth $20 million Tuesday, including $7.5 million in guarantees, according to a source informed of the terms of the contract. He will make $8.25 million over the first two years of the deal. Succop ranked fifth in the NFL in total field goals made (35), ninth in points scored (136), 15th in extra points made and had only one field goal and one extra point attempt blocked. He also was tied for 16th in field goal percentage (83.3). He made 93.9 percent of his extra point attempts. While Succop doesn't boast the strongest leg, he's among the most consistent, and his fantasy stock should be on the rise with the Tennessee offense expected to open things up in 2018 under a new coaching staff.
