Titans Draft Speedy Running Back Darrynton Evans
5 years agoThe Tennessee Titans used their third-round pick (93rd overall) on Appalachian State running back Darrynton Evans. Evans is fast -- he ran a 4.41-second 40-yard dash at the combine -- and should complement power-back Derrick Henry nicely in Tennessee's run-first offensive attack. Evans is a one-cut running back with solid explosiveness and excellent vision to find the hole. Henry will still be the lead dog, but after handling 303 carries last season, Evans could share some of the load. The Titans have been one of the most run-heavy teams in the NFL, so expect Evans to go early in rookie-only dynasty league drafts. He'll be a must-own handcuff to Henry.
