Titans Not Looking At Veteran Receivers Yet
5 years agoAccording to senior writer Jim Wyatt from TennesseeTitans.com, there have been no "rumblings" from the team at this point about adding a veteran free-agent wide receiver to the team. As of now, the team's three-receiver set includes A.J. Brown, Corey Davis and Adam Humphries, and the team didn't really address the loss of free-agent wideout Tajae Sharpe yet this offseason. With the team recently declining Davis' fifth-year option, it would seem that they'd do something to address the lack of depth at the position, but Wyatt says that if the team did add a veteran receiver, it would be closer to the start of the season. That seems like good news for the three guys who currently have roles on the team, especially Humphries, a solid slot receiver who should see his role increase in 2020. Humphries is an intriguing late-round sleeper in deeper leagues.
