Titans Pick Up Fifth-Year Option For Adoree' Jackson
5 years agoThe Tennessee Titans have picked up the fifth-year option for cornerback Adoree' Jackson. Jackson appeared in 10 games last year, recording 45 tackles and failing to pick off a pass, with the promising young defensive back seeing his overall snap rate drop in the games he did play. But Jackson graded out extremely well via PFF, who had him as the league's eighth-best corner, and the team's overall points per game allowed rose by nearly five points when Jackson sat. A healthy Jackson should play a huge role on this team, and while his value in IDP leagues isn't huge since he doesn't produce many turnovers, two more years of Jackson under team control increases the fantasy floor for the Titans Defense as a whole.
