Titans Re-Sign Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
3 years agoThe Tennessee Titans re-signed wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine to a one-year deal on Wednesday. Financial terms of the team were not disclosed. Westbrook-Ikhine was scheduled to become an exclusive-rights free agent next week. The 24-year-old has developed nicely as receiver depth for the Titans the last two seasons. He saw plenty of playing time in 2021 due to injuries to A.J. Brown and veteran Julio Jones, and Westbrook-Ikhine took advantage by catching 38 of his 57 targets for 476 yards (12.5 yards per catch) and four touchdowns in 16 games (seven starts). He finished second on the team in catches behind Brown's 63, and his yardage total trailed only Brown (869). Westbrook-Ikhine has 41 catches for 509 yards and four touchdowns in 30 games in his two NFL seasons. He'll only become fantasy relevant (with a low ceiling) if injuries strike the position again in 2022.
