Titans Replace A.J. Brown With Treylon Burks
3 years agoThe Tennessee Titans made quite the splash in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday night, first by trading wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles, and then by taking Arkansas wideout Treylon Burks with the No. 18 pick that they acquired from the Eagles. Burks was compared to a young Brown, so the Titans are essentially replacing him with a younger version. He stands at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds and has impressive after-the-catch ability with the ball in his hands despite a disappointing 4.55-second 40-yard dash at the combine. Now that Brown is out of the picture in Tennessee, Burks will have plenty of opportunity to make noise in his rookie season, albeit in a run-first offense.
