Titans Rework Derrick Henry's Contract
2 years agoThe Tennessee Titans reworked All-Pro running back Derrick Henry's contract on Thursday to give him a $2 million raise this year, according to sources. Henry will now make $14 million in 2022, the most of any running back in the NFL. Next year will be the final year of his contract. The 28-year-old's fantasy stock might have dropped slightly entering this season after he played in only eight games in 2021 due to a foot injury. But in those eight games, Henry ran for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns on 219 carries, also adding 18 receptions for 154 yards. The two-time Pro Bowler led the NFL in rushing in each of the previous two seasons and should still be a top-five fantasy back if he can stay healthy in 2022.
