Titans Want To Keep Harold Landry
3 years agoTennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson said that the team wants to keep impending free-agent outside linebacker Harold Landry after he made great strides during his 12-sack season in 2021. "I think Harold wants to be (with us), not to speak for him," Robinson said. "We are going to do everything we can to try and keep Harold, but we understand there's a lot of other things that need to go down, too." Landry was playing on the final year of his four-year contract this year after he was taken in the second round in 2018 by the Titans. Tennessee could decide to use the franchise tag on Landry, which would give them more time to work out a long-term contract extension with him. The 25-year-old Pro Bowler finished his fourth season with a career-high 75 tackles (51 solo), 14 tackles for loss, 22 QB hits and a forced fumble in 17 regular season games.
