6 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver TJ Jones has caught just five passes for 53 yards in his last five games. The receiver was expected to take on a bigger role once Golden Tate was traded, and then an even bigger one once Marvin Jones (knee) was forced to miss a Week 11 matchup with Carolina. However, it hasn't shown on the field as Jones received just one target on 45 snaps against the Panthers. Needed as a secondary option, he was out produced by running back Theo Riddick and newly signed receiver Bruce Ellington. Even with Marvin Jones expected to miss the Week 12 Thanksgiving Day matchup with Chicago, TJ Jones should not be on your radar due to the always uncertain usage in the offense.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
